Your link only takes me to ORIENTAL RUGS - ChemDry Carpet Cleaning.
Our office carpet is perhaps 1/10 of the cost of Oriental Rugs (inch to inch). I don't need the expensive treatment. If I hire them, I'd be fired.
Pls allow other expats to generate their ordinary carpet cleaning needs.

Hi &&&
I don't know if you are still in HK, but here goes:
I'm moving soon and thought I'd seize the opportunity to have all our rugs cleaned. Who did you use in the end, and would you recommend them ? How long did it take ? I presume if they do carpets they'll do rugs...!
Thanks for your help

I did ask my Admin Dept, the company we ultimately hired does not clean rugs.
In fact, good rug cleaning needs different machinery, different chemicals than carpet cleaning, costs a lot more, because rugs are not as hardy. If you have those ultra expensive antique types, you need specialists.
You need pose the question to CAB again, for some rug clean specialist. CAB did recommend one, above : ChemDry Carpet Cleaning.
Separately, I suggest you place calls to all the above CAB recommended one : ChemDry and try to source from there. If they DO handle rug cleaning, discuss the issue of "what ifs". What is your resources if the rugs ended up shrunk, or discolored. Discuss it the current coverage claim steps with your insurer also. All that is based on assuming you have the ultra expensive rugs.
Your insurer may be able to recommend dependable rug cleaning specialists also.
Good luck with your cleaning.
