I've been on a 2 week safari in Kenya with Asia to Africa - every camp was first rate ...

If you have limited time I suggest choose a camp in the Masai Mara area... you will see the widest variety of game there.

Shy can work with you to provide excellent advice and work out a package within your budget.

thanks. dropped shy an email.

Ed - did you travel by road or by plane from camp to camp? and how many days of gaming you think is necessary? any camps you specifically recommend?

I am now thinking of 6 days 5 nights fly in safari with a 4 night beach holiday at mombasa.

We went about 5 yrs ago... and covered I think 5 camps... some we flew to some we drove to... you can probably get to two camps in the period you have for the safari...

If I recall correctly in the masai mara we stayed at elephant pepper which is a more traditional tent camp (yet not roughing it at all)... then we stayed at a place owned by a former CNN Italy guy and his wife... this was a lodge. Both were excellent in their own way.

Shy is really helpful and has huge knowledge of Africa so best to get in touch direct to plan...
