That's most efficient way - control input and output. HOwever, you might seek support from a professional slimming centre. Note the word professional. Slimming equipment might help. Make sure that they dont hard sell you anything and if they do, you must hold your gun and simply walk away. Good luck.

I bought some slimming coupons from Groupon, just to try those places, but honestly - it was a complete waste of time for me.
I say "for me", because I am generally the kind of person who knows about nutrition and healthy eating and I exercise almost everyday.
I think those slimming places are good for people who need some MOTIVATION to lose weight. Because honestly, those massages, heat blankets, fat blasting machines, cellulite massaging machines, they are COMPLETELY POINTLESS.
Those slimming centres have success stories because a really fat person will go, and they will be able to motivate that person into losing weight by giving them goals and telling them - don't eat so much, piggy, and eat healthy stuff, and do some exercise.
So... if you feel you cannot get motivation from another free or cheaper source, then sure, you can sign up to a slimming centre. But why not do something like post a message on Facebook to all your friends and say you are going to lose 20 kilos. Maybe by making your goal public, you will be more motivated to eat more healthily and do exercise 4 or 5 times a week. Like everyone else has said - losing weight is all about what you eat and how you exercise.
Be careful with exercise too. Maybe start off with power walking - something low impact. Don't just go straight into jogging because you could hurt your knees until your muscle builds up.
Start now! Eat well. Exercise!
