Hello,
I have read about a non- invasive treatment for face lift called thermage. Does anyone know if this service is available in Shanghai, or any other Asian country. And if so the address of the place. Also if anyone has had it done can you tell me if it is good.

I was having this done but decided to stop after finding out that a group of patients are suing Thermage for facial damage - fat loss and dimpling... I would google the before and after pics of women who suffered damage to their faces.
Luckily I am ok as I didn't go through with all the treatments - in the end, I decided it wasn't worth going throught it as the risk was too great.

I read that the actual improvement that you see is not proportionate to the amount that you pay for the entire treatment. With the total amount that you pay you'd be better off with a mini facelift-e.g threadlifts etc.

About two year ago I went to Taipei, a popular place for mini cosmetic surgeries and beauty treatments, and paid about HK$40k for thermage for my face and eyes. I used a doctor who was recommended on the net by beauty gurus and peope. The result was barely visible....I regret spending that amount of money! Last year i started to go for laser facial i.e. having laser treatment every 4-6 weeks. I think the result is much better and much more visible and it only costs around $1 each time.

I had it done in HK when i was having the botox injection, was really painful so once, when one cheek was done, i nearly wanted to skip the other cheek, but for fear of getting a uneven face, did the other side as well. though not sure any visible result is seen over half a year, definately won´t repeat the experience, rather go for an operation instead if truely need to. wasn´t worth the pain and the money

Hi there, im currently living in Shanghai. My friend told me about a new beauty clinic which has opened. It does Third Generation Thermage. Has anyone had it done it SH?? How much does it cost in HK? They are quoting 60,000-80,000 RMB???? Is this about right??
