Hi I was told by my child's class teacher that my child talks too much in class to a standard that it affects her daily learning and also she is distracting others. She has been like that for many years. We always remind her that at home but dont know what more we can do. Any suggestions / ideas? Many thanks.

By the way, how old is your daughter?
I would think it would be up to the teachers to guide your daughter and/or discipline her if she's interrupting others. And when she's older, it probably won't be a problem.
Tell her she has two ears and one mouth, so it's more important to listen than keep talking? I think all you can do is keep reminding her about the importance of listening to others.

Thanks, Slammy. I read the blog you suggested and happy to find most of the comments are positive. My daughter is almost 8 now and I know that she can do better if she listens more than just chattering away.
