Hello everyone!!

I am an expat working in macau. My wife is also expat working here as well. We have a baby now who is born in macau.

I would like hire a nanny to take care of my baby.. can someone please guide us what is the criteria to hire a nanny for expats. Both of ours (me and my wife) blue card is non professionals..but we can afford to hire a nanny as our both salary is more than mop$40 thousand a month. Is it must be a professionals blue card holder to hire a nanny in macau or else we can also hire a nanny having non professionals blue card holder???

Not sure how things are done in Macau.

In Hong Kong, there are many agencies which specialize in helping people hiring domestic helpers. They will take care of all the paperwork.

My guess is that there are many such agencies in Macau as well.

So ask a local friend for a recommendation of an agent.
