We are a couple in our mid 30's who appear to be loosing friends every other week due to new baby arrivals! As much as we like kids, we are choosing not to have them so our lives are trending differently to those of our new parent friends.
If you're in your early thirties and upwards and feeling the same, drop me a pm and let's meet up for drinks!!!

Hi, I'm in the same boat. Even though most of my friends are not couples, the baby thing is still removing my friends from my list....2 single teachers just adopted within the past 2 months.// I'm mid-thirties, happy to meet anywhere for a drink and see what we have in common. Ellie 6990-9009.

We are an expat couple in our mid 30s also. I definitely feel the difference when talking to friends, family members, and acquaintances that are parents now. I can't seem to relate to their everyday lives and nor can they to mine (We travel a lot.) I'm open to meeting new people here in Hong Kong. Message me if you're interested in meeting for a drink!

Hi, is anyone still around? I just came across the title of this thread and I thought OMG, that is exactly what I am going through! We are an expat couple also, I am a 37 yr old Brit and my bf of 5 yrs (soon to be fiancé) is a 38 yr old Aussie. I came to HK straight out of uni for work and have been here 14 yrs now. I have had some great friends during my stay in HK but ultimately everyone goes back to wherever they came from, and to add to that now I am also losing friends because they have kids and never come out again. And when they do they are boring. We are professionals (he is a lawyer and I am an ex-banker turned wannabe entrepreneur), living on Conduit Rd, hang out on Wyndham St., get pissed a lot.. We are looking for similar age (say, between 30 and 50), similar minded and similar background couples or for me, just single girls are great too for girls' nights out, etc. Our other interests are wine (we do lots of wine tasting), horse riding, travel, music, art, literature and debating everything under the sun. We would particularly welcome people we could have wine tasting evenings with! If you are interested to talk further, please Whatsapp/text me on 91557559. Thank you! G
