I haven't tried either of those formula's but have you tried putting in an extra 10ml in the bottle? It may make a bit of a difference.
My baby is on goat milk formula (very gentle on tummies) we put an extra 10ml in the bottles (recommended by our midwife friend). Save any issues with constipation and also extra hydration for those hot months.

Please never give Friso comfort to your innocent babies!
my baby was constipated after her 3rd week of age. at that time we gave her my breast milk and Nutrilon standard by bottle. I was advised to replace Nutrilon with Friso comfort when she was in week 5. She pooped once every 3-4 days and her stool was a bit hard. When I started Friso comfort I realized that my baby has a strange behavior with the symptoms of an epilepsy seizure. The constipation get worse so that the baby had traces of blood in her stool and used to cry during defecation. Moreover, she was very sensitive and she was scared of almost everything even from a small movement of my head. She could not sleep during the day and one day after defecation she could not drink enough. She did not gain weight even she lost weigh once. I let the consultation office know about these problems and wanted to go back to Nutrilon standard. But they were disagree and encouraged me to continue with Friso comfort. After week 12 I cut Friso comfort and gave her again Nutrilon standard. I Gave the baby lactalose one day 5 ml and the other 2 days 3ml each. After this the problem of constipation has been solved. Baby is not frightened anymore. The strange behavior is gone. She sleeps around 5-6 hours a day and we enjoy our lives.

I use Hipp Organic from Bumps to babes for both my babies, and I also added baby probiotics. When baby was young he would poop regularly every day. Now that he is 9 months he poops on alternate days.
Hip Organic is german so it would have the best ingredients.

My DD also had the same issue. She's been constipated since last 2 weeks already. Her stomach starts to bloat already.. I'm very worried now cos i can see that she's feeling very not comfortable with it already. Possible to be the milk formula prob?? Can anyone recommend me any sort of formula that help preventing constipation for children? Btw Im using friso baby formula now.

MaryJane, actually no need to worry so much because this issue is become quite common already. I would suggest you to bring your daughter go for a walk or exercise because movements able to stimulate digestion or eat more fruits especially papaya because it contains full of fibre and good for digestive system.

u can try Mamil la... I've been using it since last year and ever since my LO no longer friends with constipation already. This is bcos Mamil has some sort of ingredients, prebiotics and no sugar lehhh which is very good in preventing constipation. Also Mamil has the highest DHA level in the market nw.. u can see the difference in a week la..

I totally agree with u, Mamil is doing its job well as i was once facing such prob like u all where my DD was badly constipated and every time she poo, the texture of the stools was so hard until she sometimes will cry due to the pain from it.. But now ever since my sister introduce me to Mamil no more such prob dy! so no more heartache as well!

The constipation baby formula in my consideration set would be Mamil, Enfamil, and Sustagen. These few brands is good in preventing constipation for baby but if to choose only one, it would be Mamil la cos its way less sweeter compare to the rest..
