I am wondering what kind of Hong Kong Custom Rules apply when I buy beauty/(food) products through the amazon.com website? Has anybody experience with this? Do some import restrictions apply to e.g. oils, vitamins, and creams?
I am thinking of buying (coconut, jojoba, avocado) oils (those could be considered as being food products), some vitamin powders (niacinamide, Vit C etc.), and some creams/gels (sunscreen, aloe vera etc) on amazon.com (the US website) and let it deliver to HK. I just know that restrictions apply to dairy and meat, but what about oils, creams and vitamins? I think that it should be tax free as apparently only tobacco, alcohol, and fuel are taxed when imported.
