are HK Obs more intervening?

i've heard that the Obs in HK intervene in pregnancy and birth that the western world. Is this true?


Some say they are more careful and notice things earlier and do something about it, others say they just intervene when they should let things happen naturally.


Any opinions?

i think they are overly cautious and often seem to take the easy way out.

i have never seen or heard of so many c-sections, seems it is the answer to everything, and often scheduled here...

It all depends on the obs. Mine will only do c-sections if it is medically indicated and is very proactive about natural births. Shop around and find an obs which suits you.
