In the past one year, a lot of friends of mine got pregnant, just to go through miscarriages in a few months for those lucky ones or even when they were in their 6 or 7 months. They all need huge support from friends and families. From what I have seen, the percentage of miscarriages amongst these pregnant women was more than a scary 50%. Just wonder, is it a fairly common phenomenon among women in their 30s or 40s?

Hey you should be a careful what you write on this thread. Not sure if you read any of them but most of us here are strugglying to get pregnant it's a bit scary having this written. I myself suffered a miscarriage but i was very clear in why it happened. It's a bit much to read 50% and no reasons why. I understand your need for info but maybe you should move this over to MUM's and DAD's i'm sure there would be more women over there who could help answer you question. Just MY opinion though.

Yep, I too agree with Perthites. Miscarriages are the last thing we want to hear at this stage as we all are struggling through with fertility issues. And in my opinion if you are not one who has been through it you just wont know what it is like.....

I must apologize if my original message sounds "scary" or discouraging. But I thought if you are trying to conceive, so much more the reason you see the big picture. With all my best wishes you ladies have success, and I am sure talking about miscarriages here would not and SHOULD not deter any of your determined minds but make it stronger still.

LH we all know the risks yes but we are concerntrating on just finding out how we can get preganant with all our issues it takes us months to find the balance of meds etc. Our big picture is having a baby. No of course it doesn't deter us but let us deal with the issues at hand first.
