I was fortunate to have my two children at the Matilda, however my husband and i are now thinking of another and we not in the so fotunate position of being able to use the Matilda again.

My problem is that i had to have my other two children by Caesarean (medical reasons not vanity) and have been advised that if i had a third i would have to have that one by C-section.

So my question is, can anyone recommend an excellent hospital to go to and does one go to that hospital for check-ups rather than a private OBGYN?

My friend had a caesarean at the Queen Mary hospital (public), not by choice as the baby was in breach postion and she had absolutley no problems at all. In fact she said she would recommend the Queen Mary any day. The only thing she found uncomfortable was that she could only stay in the hospital for 3 nights due to shortage of beds.

Also she never went to a private doctor for check ups, but opting to go to the hospital instead.
