Hello,
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months now. I know this does not seem like a long time to some but it certainly feels like it. We know my ovulation schedule and in some months tried every day (and in others every second day) but nothing yet.
Is it too early to check with a doctor about low sperm count or lack of mobility or something with me and my eggs. What is involved wiht this and does anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to make this happen (that we have not done)?
Thanks!

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know there were specific vitamins etc. you could take. Oh, and I just turned 29.
Thanks

Shouldnt they do the sperm test first and rule that out? Thats the easiest to do!
I use something called Preventamins (w/o iron) and add on folic acid and Vit. C. I've been taking Coq10 for a few years now, and have a flax seed smoothie every morning. DH has same protocol. Once I knew I was pregnant I quartered the flaxseeds but make up with walnuts etc.
After the first trimester I plan to switch to a prenatal multivit called Rainbow Light... I get all my vitamins off the net, cannot be bothered to pay an arm and a leg to buy them here.

Hi Tooletime,
I have been trying to get preggers since Jan this year and when it got to 8 months I decided to go and see my Ob. He did an internal ultra sound and could see that everything looked fine. I asked that we also check my husband, to rule that out, so he gave me a plastic jar to take home and return to him as soon as the deed was done. So, results came back and all was normal. I would recommend doing this as it gives you peace of mind that all is fine and there is no need to worry. Shortly after that I heard through some friends that drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea can help concieve. Well I drank this stuff everyday...took some zinc tablets and also gave some to my husband to take and finally we fell pregnant. So, its hard to say for sure thats what did it, but if i went with my gut feeling i would guess it was that. My diet has been 100% healthly too, I am sure that can contribute. Go get checked out and your husband and maybe try the tea. It worked for me. Good luck.
