any recommendations on one?do you feel a night shift is necessary?a supporting breastfeeding pillow helps you?what kind of chair works for you?(for breastfeeding after a c section).need your opinion.

Friend used a confinement lady - her husband found her presence in the night intrusive and unncessary, although probably she helped more than he did. If you're going to exclusively BF, I would say that the day shift would be enough, especially if you're hoping that the baby will sleep through the night.
I used a boppy pillow for nursing and my friend who had a c section also used the boppy. (she was in more pain than I was however.) A comfortable chair, with a good back support is important as a footstool so you can raise your legs up on it.
Go sit on some chairs and see what feels comfortable. Many of my friends breastfed in bed, sitting up, with their legs crossed- which supposedly can cause more varicose veins - but they found it the most comfortable.

boppy pillow is availabe at bumps to babes - it's like a donut. I do hear that "my brest friend" pillow is also nice - you can attach it around you with a strap...but I was very happy with the boppy.
