I've been experiencing constant thirst. (I'm 14weeks pregnant). I used to like Volvic, but the taste of any mineral water just gives me nausea. Sometimes grape fruit juice helps, but best thing so far is young coconuts!!! But it is extremely inconvenient if I have to crack open a coconut whenever I'm thirsty especially when I am thirsty almost 24hurs a day. Does anyone have any remedy for this???

When I was pregnant I said I was 'desert thirsty'...
I drank a lot of water, slicing strawberries in the water makes it taste nice, Pocari Sweat sometimes if I felt weak/dehdrated, various fresh fruit juices, soy milk and fruit smoothies, soy milk...
Just keep trying everything until you find more drinks you like...
And just because you don't like something one day doesn't mean you might not like it the next - and vice versa!
Good Luck... after reading your posts for many months, it is great you are pregnant, congrats!
Hi Cri,
Thanx for your tips! Strawberries in water sounds very nice. Will try tomorrow!!! It's good to know that I'm not the only one who's thirsty! And thanx for your congrats. How are things with you?

I am still drinking the water with strawberries! They are good to eat too :)
Have posted other posts on my labour and on how I am... in short, epidurals are a gift from the gods and while I did not like being pregnant I love it all now (almost 4 weeks old).
Congratulations, Crj! You have a 4 week old! How exciting. I will have to start thinking about delivery option too...I'm opt for epidurals if it becomes too painful...good to know it is there and safe.
Drink Perrier helped me as I went off plain water
Hi Crj, I tried strawberries, and it worked for one day, and the next day, it tasted weired. (I did make a fresh bottle!) For a week or so, everything tasted bitter and smelled strange, but after one week, it stopped. I could drink Volvic no problem!! I still like young coconut and find watermelon very soothing. Thanks for the thread. I will check it out! (I must try strawberry water soon as my taste must have changed since then!) Defenitelly, your suggestion of try new things constantly is helping me!
tictactoe2, Perrier may help...mmm, but can you drink a lot of bubbled water?? I might as well give it a try, though. At this point, I will try anything!
