hi, all.
i'm currently trying to have a baby.
is it safe to start yoga? i'm a bit worried about starting a work-out regime while i'm trying to conceive. (i've never really worked out regularly before)
any ideas?

You are not pregnant yet, so any exercise is good exercise - especially swimming which is very low impact and walking. Yoga and Pilates are also good when you are NOT pregnant.
Once you are pregnant, ask your doctor.
And go to a teacher that knows you are pregnant and has experience with pregnant women in terms of what exercises are safe for you.
good luck
the fitter you are preconception and prepregnancy allows you to work out more when you are pregnant. I recommend starting on a decent cardiovascular programme as well - walking on a treadmill or outside or some other form. You can work out at similar pace (slightly reduced) after you conceive, provided that your pregnancy is normal.
