St Paul's Hospital

I'll be giving birth at the above mentioned hospital at the end of May. Was wondering for those who have recently given birth there, what I need to bring for both myself and my newborn

I was there about 5 years ago and only vaguely remember what I took, but I will be giving birth there again at the beginning of May and I will be taking:

My doctors admission letter.

ID card/Passport

Blood test results.

Night wear

Slippers

sanitary towels

underpads for the bed.

My own bathroom towels, but I think the hospital will provide them, I will have to double check.


Baby blanket for when I leave hospital.

I took a set of baby clothes last time but I can't remember if the hospital used them but I will be taken a set again this time.


The hospital actually provides a few sanitary towels and underpads for free but if you run out of anything, there is a hospital shop that sells just about everything.

You don't need to take nappies or milk powder as that is also part of the package.
