Tsan Yuk

I know there are lots of Tsan Yuk threads, but they're all quite old. Is there anyone who's going through the whole process now? I did it 2 years ago and want to know what has changed since then. I heard that they no longer do the nuchal fold u/s testing for free (boooo), but that I need to arrange that myself. Do they still provide all the initial blood testing, and the 18-week scan?

And less importantly - just curious - are all the doctors still teenagers? Can they answer any questions without going and asking a real doctor first? Do they ever read your notes or do you need to repeat your entire medical history each time you go?

Going through Tsan Yuk now. Yes they provide the initial blood tests. The 18 week scan cost HK$60 as have the two glucose blood tests I have had to have. You are right, no nuchal fold testing for free if you are under 35. It cost me 1200. I have found the doctors and midwives/nurses fine - maybe not the best bedside manner but can't really complain about the medical care. I am not very experienced in what to expect from a doctor but the ones i have seen are young yet able to answer my questions - just find I do need to be assertive and ask cos they don't volunteer information otherwise.
