Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me who is supposed to be the best/most experienced doctor for c-section surgury in HK? I am petite at 5 feet, 29 weeks pregnant, and my baby's head is in the 90 percentile. My doctor in the states informs me that I am likely to need a c-section. I want to avoid an emergency c-section, and I am terrified of careless, inexperienced surgeons. I'll be moving to HK soon. Thanks!

The best is Dr Choy at Care for Women in New World Tower in Central tel 3112 0480. She has received many many recommendations. A wonderful doctor and a talented surgeon.

congrats on your pregnancy and your move to HK. In HK, c-sections are rather common, as many people CHOOSE to have them (elective c-sections) and so many doctors have great track records with it. Some whom you may consider -
Dr. Phillip Ho
Dr. Milton Leung
Dr. Macor Wan
the downside may be the price - so make sure your insurance will cover. Otherwise you will have to go through the public care system, under which I've received excellent care. (the above doctors have all performed a number of c-sections on various friends without any complaints.)

I second with Dr Ghosh, my scar is so neat you can hardly see it. I was very pleased with his treatment
