I was the same... not a problem.
If you are drinkinh gallons and gallons a day you can mention to your doctor, but I really wouldn't worry. It is so important that you drink water, and you are, so that is great!

Do you think your thirst is abnormal? How many weeks are you?
The only issue might be if you have a unquenchable thirst which can be a sign of gestational diabeties (something that is easy to deal with by diet if need be).
I'm sure you don't have anthing to worry about it but you might mention it to your doctor on your next visit.

I had thirst issues with my 2nd pregnancy.... but was never tested for gestational diabeties. Does gestational diabeties make you fat and retain alot of water by chance? hehe

I was super thirsty, I used to call it 'thirsty as in desert thirsty' and did NOT have gestational diabeties (yes I was tested)... sometimes it is just normal as you need to drink a lot while pregnant and nursing.

Hi Verellene,
I wouldn't worry, it's unlikely to be gestational diabeties (as others have mentioned it's pretty common to be very thirsty). Just one of those things that you should mention to you doctor.
Cheers! @@
