Ok i found out that the hospital doesnt provide baby pictures nor birth announcements... *note* the the hospital i had my first 2 babies at did. So, i looked around for a place that does birth announcements here in shanghai and i cant find any.... its rather frustrating. I was wondering if any other mothers in shanghai or whatever knew a company that does them in english and chinese?
Thanks!

I've had mine done before by the Wren Press (www.wrenpress.com). I have always been impressed by their quality - difficult to beat, but just be warned that their turnaround time is not the speediest (and thta was when I was in London, add shipping time to HK too) and they are certainly not cheap. Their HK contact is tarlan.amigh@wrenpress.com.

www.tinyprints.com - so cute...but again you'll be paying more for international shipping.
I've also made my own at home - just with a photograph, some nice ribbon and vellum. Not too hard - and cheaper too.

http://www.perpetualbliss.us/proofs/addison/ I am a photographer but I also design baby announcements using personal pictures. I am able to incorporate chinese character names on those announcements. Example on http://www.perpetualbliss.us/proofs/jiaqingjiangliang/ If you want to see more examples, you could email me at info@perpetualbliss.us. You could get your birth announcement design in a file format and make prints yourself or get glossy postcards.

If you are looking for fun, colourful designs, have a look at www.ilagila.com. My friend Irene designs these birth announcements - she is Dutch (so is the website) but is based in Vietnam and has lived in HK. She will be able to get the cards printed in HK (she did for me). You'd just have to send her the text in Chinese.
