Congratulations, that means your scan must have gone well. I noticed your thread disappeared and wondered what had happened. I was advise to book into Matilda a 6 weeks to be sure I got in seems mad! I am using Dr. Ho his speciality is also getting you pregnant and he is also really busy but i will stick with him as he has got me this far.

I am with Dr Dawkins and he delivers at the matilda. i find him to be very relaxed which doesn't suit most as he doesn't volunteer info unless you ask or it is necessary. I find him fantastic and very calming - I am a very anxious person and he was very good with me in the first and second trimesters when I would constantly freak out about things. He would always answer emails and phone messages even for the silliest of questions. He is busy but you will get appointments easily and when you are in his care he will fit you in if you are overly concerned about something or there is a problem. Although we haven't given birth yet I can highly recommend him up till now. Also he has awesome scanning facilities and does the 4d scans at no extra cost which are great. He booked me in to matilda when I was 8 weeks.

Good luck

i see dr alexander doo for both my pregnancies and i wouldn't have anyone else. dr doo has great bedside manner, a great sense of humour and he is also the resident doctor at matilda. his clinic is located at central too, his number is 25233007. congrats again.

Foolanhill,

You might want to check and see if there is a limit on maternity claim under your insurance policy. Most insurance I have come across will either restrict you to an absolute amount or the type of room that your room can stay in. If you dont have any restrictions, then Matilda (aka Matilda hospital) is a good choice.

I too can recommend Dr Dawkins in Jardine House, Central. He booked me into Matilda at 8 weeks. I haven't had any trouble getting an appointment with him and have never had to wait very long. I am due in April, so still early days, but he seems great so far.
