Hi all,
Just wondering where my husband and i can purchase a moses basket with a high stand as we have two small dogs. I saw the one at Bumps to Babes but it was too low and rocked (we prefer to have a non-rocking basket)...where can i find one in HK?
Thanks!

I saw one at the Eugene shop at Megabox, and also Mothercare carries them. For Mothercare, they may not be on display - the ones I saw were put under the cots. They will take them out if you want to see.

I bought mine from Toys R Us (in the baby section) but this was 3 years ago.

babeez, just a quick one, completely your choice of course, but you dont really need a moses basket, most of my friends who had one said "waste of money" as babies only last in the 4-6 wks tops and they are not the cheapest things to buy. Just put the baby straight in the cot from day 1, that is what we did and a bunch of other people we know. Also makes it easier for you later, you dont have to worry about how the baby is going to take to being moved from moses basket to the cot.. some babies get upset by it.. But of course, this is just my point of view!

agree, they look pretty but have a very short usage. If you can borrow or buy one 2nd hand it may be worth it.

I also agree. A waste of space and money- and being HK you will only end up throwing it away due to lack of storage space!

Thanks all, but found a cheap and beautiful one second hand. We want the baby to sleep in our room to start with and the cot does not fit. I am the first amongst my friends to get pregnant so i think this basket will get passed around quite a bit and will make great use of itself in the end. Thanks for all the advice though! :)
