Hi Sta,

I have adenomyosis too and it is hindering me from getting pregnant. Hence, I am considering IVF . I have recently consulted Dr Chris Chen from Gleneagles and Dr Jothi Kumar from O&G Partners in Gleneagles too. Having consulted both of them, I personally preferred Dr Jothi Kumar. Both are experts in this fertility field but you have to spend hours waiting for your turn to see Dr Chris Chen (even though you have made an appointment!!) and his nurses are not too friendly. Comparatively, Dr Jothi Kumar is a more approachable and careful doc who wouldn't waste your time and money to do a certain procedure for you or hubby if he think it is not necessary. His nurses are also much more friendly. Most importantly, you don't have to wait long to see him.

Hi PyoPyo,

I also heard good things about Dr Kumar. I've met with LC Foong also with O&G partners and he is also very kind and knowlegeable, although they are very reluctant to touch the adenomyosis. Comments on Chris Chen are more mixed.

I've done 1 IVF but was not successful. It's a difficult situation - the embryos were good but if the womb is not optimum, the chances of succeeding is not high.

Good luck to you!
