Does IVF have in public doctors?

Want to have a baby, but the cost is really very expensive for private one. Does anybody know if the public hospital or doctor have this kind of support?

It is my understanding that the public hospitals also offer IVF to patients. I have been advised that QM offers this service at a significantly lower rate if you are <39 years old and if you go thru the private services at QM (either because you are >39 years old) or because you wish to avoid the waiting list - then the costs are about HK$45K.


I have not discussed this with any other public hospital.

Kjskek, if you are planning to have an IVF in QMH, first thing you need to do is to go to your private OB Gyne and ask for referral then take the refferral with you in QMH Block S 5/F to make an appointment to see the specialist doctor.

To avoid the waiting list you can also use the semi private services.
