I've just found out I am pregnant with our 3rd one, and wondering whether I will go public again this time. I had 2 good experiences in the past at QMH/Tsan Yuk, although we had no choice but to go there since Medical insurance wasn't covering pregnancy/delivery. Now we have top notch medical insurance, so am wondering whether I should consider private. Not so much for the follow-up/delivery experience themselves, but more to have a nice room where my kids can come and visit me, where my husband could spend the 1st night etc.
Can anyone recommend any OB GYN who delivers in Adventist or Canossa Hospital, and who is very pro-natural delivery (we had the 2nd one all natural, ie no drugs, no episiotomy, all coached by my husband at QMH with hypnobirthing, amazing experience), and will not get on my nerves the last month of pregnancy to induce/C-section because baby is big (I've heard about such cases quite often). I'm really looking for someone relaxed about natural delivery.
I guess if I cannot find anyone convincing, I'll just take a private room at QMH, although this is not gonna assist re. restricted visiting hours.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi Suzie,
Sorry I can't answer your question, but I have one for you. How do you book a private room at QMH? Can you tell me how much it costs?
I am due to deliver there in late July and haven't heard of this option before.....

I don't think you can book in advance, but you can request one when you 'check'in' and they'll give you a private or semi-private room if available.
