I am a Asian Women 42, awaiting for egg donor since I was 40. I know the chance is now very limit & just doing whatever I can do before give up (just got back from Taiwan for an consultation).

Can you share with me where you have waitlisted for an egg donor? We are still looking at improving my egg quality but would like to learn more about egg donor - just in case.
As for egg donors, I dont think many places offer it. I have heard that Victoria Lab in Princes Building has that service - but I have not gone there to ask yet.

I'm on the waiting list in Taiwan. However the doctor told me that they prefer to match my blood type (O+) as well. But the O+ is now have a long waiting list.

Hi, my understanding is that egg donation is not illegal. What is illegal is paying someone for egg donation (eggs considered like organs). If you can find someone who is willing to do egg donation, then you are lucky. Next thing is that you need to find a doctor that can make recomendation that egg donation is the only option left for you. Then I think you can go ahead, but will obviously have to pay for all of the expenses for your friend.

Sure if ur friend wants to volunteer for egg donation. U will be the lucky one. My cousin did the same in HK. She need egg and there was this young girl who needed the money, she did help and now they have a beautiful baby girl. Good luck!

Just picked up this thread - I am also looking for an egg donor as this is my only chance. Have been to Clement Ho's practice who works with Victory Lab in Princes building, but have been unsuccessful after two attempts - on wait list again but at same time looking for any quicker solutions.

Hi I did egg donation in Valencia, Spain with IVI, after years of no success with IVF due to poor egg quality we finally decided on egg donation and wow what a different experience.....11 eggs collected, 10 fertilised, 2 good quality embryos put back on day 3 and now I'm 13 weeks pregnant with twins!! There is no waiting list with IVI and it's a very professionally run organisation. Check out their website if you're interested http://www.ivi.es/en/home.aspx. The are based all over Spain but international patients go to Valencia which happens to be a very beautiful city into the bargain.

Message Yes we thoroughly recommend treatment in India. we did surrogacy there 10 times! So from this experience we can safely say to others that you're wasting your time hanging about in the west!

oh and if you are white and still need an egg donor, relax, most couples who do surrogacy in India are white and most couples who need donor eggs are white too and happy to use Indian donor eggs. Your names will be on the birth certificate irrespective of whose eggs or sperm was used.
