I am 40 yrs old, pregnant as a result of IVF treatment. Dr. Danny Leung was recommended but I wondered whether anybody had an experience with him? In addition how is Sanitorium hospital for maternity care and delivery (will have to have C-section).

Altenative name is Dr. Arabinda Gosh -- if you met both who would you choose?

I saw Dr Leung once for my cvs/amnio. He was very good in terms of being patient, explaining what was going to be done and taking time afterwards to call me with results etc. Only downside, but this may have just been the day I was there, was I had a long wait (approx an hour). I have a friend who delivered with Dr Ghosh and was very happy with him but I havent had any experience.

Hi hopeinhk

Am always happy and hopeful when I hear of successful IVF cases.

Could you share with me how many cycles of IVF you did with Dr Danny Leung and what the experience was like? Am scouting around for a alternative IVF doctor to mine.

Many thanks!

My IVF was not with Dr. Leung. I did 3 IUIs and this was my 6th IVF trial (one of those frozen cycle)

Hi hopeinhk

Could you share which doctor you went for your IVF? Did you stick to the same doctor throughout or changed halfway?

Reason for asking is that I'm thinking of going to another doctor for my next IVF.

Hi ezpz

I had mine with overseas docs in 3 different countries 4 docs in total. Who is your current doc?

I have seen both Dr. Danny Leung and Dr. Gosh (unfortunately I lost the baby so did not deliver), and I preferred Dr. Leung and would see him again. HK Sanatorium is an excellent, well equipped (not cheap though) hospital. I would chose it in a heartbeat over other 'expat' hospitals based on quality of nursing staff and state-of-the-art equipment and overall standards.
