1st Prenatal visit...no blood work

I had my first prenatal visit and was told since I will not be delivering in Hong Kong, I don't need to do any blood work. Is this normal?

the tests you have done should have nothing to do with where you are or aren't delivering. I am delivering outside of HK too but haven't told them that as I had a hunch something like this might happen.

I had mine recently at the public TunYak Hosp on Hosptial Rd and had a blood test. Just tell them you are planning to deliver in HK now to make sure you get the appropriate tests and checks done. You can tell them down the track and cancel any appointments you won't need.
