Does anyone has any experience doing ultrasound at the Maternal & Child Health Centre in North Point?
I am thinking to do my ultrasound in this Centre and not sure how long is the queuing time there.

If you are going through the public system I would highly recommend going to Tsan Yuk Clinic. They ahve an Ultrasound dept on th third floor and provide a great service.

Someone just informed me that in order to go to Tsan Yuk, I have to get a referral. Is this true? Or can I just walk-in to make an appointment?

I don't believe you need a referral. I had a down syndrome ultrasound there 2 years ago- I just booked an appointment over the phone. You do need to pay for the ultrasound if you are under 35. The clinic is called the Lady Helen Woo Women's Diagnostic & Treatment Centre. It is like a private clinic- nice waiting room, short waiting times.

oh thanks. In fact, I had my ultrasound scan there last week. As I have ID Card, I need to pay $60 for the scan and consultation at $100, or the other way round which I have forgotten.

This complaint is because of the very very bad attitude or behaviour from the doctor at the Lady Helen Woo's clinic, located in the Tsan Yuk Hospital. I went there after reading the above post. And here's my review:
I am worried and was looking on Gynecologist since i was having irregular menstrual period. The doctor is rushing me and she is not in a state of listening of my problem, she just simply asked me to leave saying that I should be 'ok'. I insisted to have some tests done. I'm in a depressed state and it become more worse after consulting the doctor there.I think they doesn't even know the attitude of behaving with a patient, and they money and time which we paid for the consultation is entirely a waste.I paid in total 1400HKD to get frustrated and I still have no clue what is due irregular periods. I asked her to give me a diagnosis on writing: she even got my cycle wrong...sigh Things that seem to be norm can go so wrong. It seem its so hard to find a competent, compassionate doctor with a caring attitude. Maybe only in my ideal world...But as a patient, i believe I got some basic right: to be informed about what is wrong with me and also being provided with competent medical care. I should file an official complaint.
