Hello everyone, just need to ask someone quite a silly question, because I dont really know what to do about it right now..
i just found out that I was pregnant, i would say about 3-4 weeks.
I am in Guang Zhou, but I want to go to HK for my medical needs.
In HK, do people just pick a local doctor or initial check ups? or is it better to go to a hospital?
I do not have insurance, but money will not be an issue as long as the best care of received.
If I should just make an appointment with a hospital, any recommendations?
If I should just head to a local doctor, any recommendations there?

You should go to a local doctor first who will then arrange the delivery with the hospital. If you have a particular hospital in mind you will need to find a doctor who delivers there (if private).

I`m planning to have my baby in GZ at the VIP Birthing Centre. I`m pretty confident in them and it`s seriously a fraction of the price as HK, with the same luxury and none of the messy paperwork bringing the baby back to the mainland (me and my husband are both foreigners).
I would recommend checking them out at least, since you are already in GZ.
