Hello,
My due date was on 8th January, ie last Thursday and as of today, am still pregnant. I've heard/read that acupuncture/acupressure can help to make it happen. I actually already had one session of acupuncture last week on 6th, but since then nothing has happened.
Would anyone have had successful experience, and with which doctor ?
I am based in HK.
I am now booked in at the hospital on Thursday morning for induction or C-section, but of course would rather have it coming 'naturally'.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi there
I was 10 days overdue and was booked into be induced and so didn't want it to happen - sweeps etc didn't work and neither did reflexology. I did however talk to a homeopath and they prescribed caulophyllum - homeopathy works on the law of minimum dose - ie you take one and see if it works and only repeat later if nothing happens... I ended up taking 2 doses one in the morning and one at night and I went into labour that night... you could give it a go - don't eat or drink or brush your teeth 15 mins either side of taking it - and don't have any coffee...
If you want to see a homeopath you could go and see Graeme Stuart Bradshaw at his place in Stanley St - can't remember the name but am sure it'll come up on a Google search
btw - if you are interested - Helios do a homeopathic Childbirth kit - which has lots of stuff like arnica which can help with the process and the healing
good luck

Thanks for your reply.
She must have felt I was stressed with the idea of induction/C-section, since I went into labour the night after I post my message !

Where can you get caulophyllum? I'm overdue and really would like to avoid induction/C-section if at all possible, but the idea of seeing another doctor isn't high on my list. Can you get it without a prescription?

I have just heard this morning of IMI in Central where they have homeopaths + a shops, there is a website imi.com.hk.
