Has anyone recently adopted locally in HK or in the process is an expat?

We have recently adopted. We started the process early 2009, approved August and we now have our child early 2010. I think HK is one of the easiest places to adopt. Saying that....we certainly fitted the criteria...have lived here over 10 years...both permanent residents etc...

Good luck! Seems like a lifetime wait but really its nothing.
