Hi all,
I am about 7 weeks pregnant and will be going soon to register for delivery at Pamela Youde. I would like to have some private check-ups and ultrasounds in addition to what is offered at the public hospitals. A friend of mine recommended Dr Doo, but his fee's are even more expensive than when she saw him ($3000 for first check-up and ultrasound) and are a bit beyond what we can afford. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good but fairly reasonable Obgyn who doesn't have a problem seeing someone who won't be delivering with him/her? We don't mind paying over $1000, even up to $2000. $3000 is just a bit excessive...

Dr Law Chiu Fung in Causeway Bay is very reasonably-priced and took us even though we had said we were considering a public hospital. However, he is very popular and even with an appointment, there's possibly a 1 hour wait. Best way to avoid the wait is to take the first appointment slot in the morning or afternoon.
