ICSI/IVF

Hi everyone,

I've been trying IUI and have not been successful on a number of occasions. I am open to trying IVF, I have also been recommended to try the ICSI procedure.

Do any of you know how much this will normally cost roughly in HK?

Also - can anyone recommend getting this done at an affordable price - any good recommendations of specialists?

Any advice would be much appreciated - thanks!

Hi Aquagirl,

I am in the middle of researching this myself. It seems that it will cost between $80,000-$100,000 for one fresh cycle. If you choose to freeze some eggs, the second/third cycle would be around half the cost of the first.

You can apply to go to the Queen Mary or Prince of Wales hospitals as a public patient but the wait will probably be up to 2 years (according to my OBGYN).

I have heard that some people opt to travel to Thailand for a cheaper alternative.
