1st pregnancy in Shenzhen

Im English and planning my first pregnancy, how do I find a good doctor in Sz?


My Health Insurance company have told me I can visit any hospital in Sz which doesnt really help me to narrow it down, Im pretty new here...

I'm planning to have my first baby in SZ also. I see your post was a couple years ago...if you're still around, could you let me know how things turned out for you? I'm as clueness now as you were then...

Hi i got pregnant in Shenzhen, but went for all prenatall tests to Hong Kong. I did go to see some doctors here, but i wasnt very comfortable with them.


I went to the Beijing University Hospital VIP centre at 5 weeks.... the OB/Gyn didnt make me too happy.


She went ;

you're pregnant?, ok.

Do you want it or not?

Me; yes i do

Obgyn: ok, go have a scan so you can see if the fetus is in the uterus or someplace else.


me: ok!


Went for scan, all was ok, but then later i went to HK for my prenatal tests. I had the baby in Guangzhou VIP Birthing centre for various complicated reasons.
