Isn't it supposed to - it's a contraceptive?

Sorry the way that question was written was just asking for a smart arse comment!

In theory as soon as you come off the pill you should be back to normal, although in some cases it can take a few months before the body gets back to normal. Some women stops taking the pill and can fall pregnant straight away for others it may take a few month. Being on the pill itself should not affect your fertility further down the line.

My wife took the pill for about ten years and got pregnant within a month or two after she quit.

I was on the pill for 18 years. I became pregnant after 15 months of stopping it, although we had sperm count issues as well. I remember my doctor saying that 80% of women conceive in the first year of trying, after being on the pill longterm.

For my first wife it was around a month after giving up the pill before she fell pregnant. For my second wife it was around 7 months after giving it up. Everyone is different.
