matilda booking cancellation

ORIGINAL POST

Hi

I'd been told I was on the waitlist for Matilda despite booking as early as possible. Now I got from them an e-mail saying that my maternity booking has been cancelled!!! Should I be worried or is this 'normal' and I will be confirmed in time???

Thanks

Gobi

Thanks :-). I hope so. I'm a little bit worried as this is my first pregnancy and I'm in 30 week.

Hi Ladies. We (at Matilida International Hospital) have read several threads recently discussing maternity booking arrangements at our hospital. Some ladies have mentioned a “waiting list.” We are writing to clarify that there is no waiting list, and any cancellation notification ladies received from our hospital is final. All obstetricians are aware of the number of their deliveries that we can accept and as such, ladies receiving such a notification are strongly advised to work with their doctors for alternative arrangements.
