Hello, I'm relatively new to TTC (two months in) and I've read a lot of these threads to try and educate myself, but there's a question I'm still fuzzy on:
Is it important/helpful to use OPKs *and* track BBT? In the first cycle, I did nothing (and frankly was shamefully ignorant for my 37 years!)...this cycle I am using an OPK, but I have not been tracking BBT. Should I definitely start doing that as well?

Hi there,
I've just started TTC (though we're having a break whilst we move to HK). I would strongly recommend charting your BBT as it will confirm that you've ovulated (so you don't need a to buy the OPKs), and if your BBT stays high for 18 days after you've ovulated that pretty much guarantees you're pregnant (so no need to splash out on loads of expensive pregancy tests - though clearly after 18 days if the BBT is still high you can do a test to confirm). Finally, if the BBT drops you'll know a day or so in advance that you're not pregnant.
I really like www.fertilityfriend.com - which does a great little chart for you.

Dear Expat2006,
Hi again. Thanks for your message. I'd love to follow up on your ebay recommendation. Would you mind sending me the supplier's details?
Thanks and all the best to you.

any sign to look out for ?
the suggestion of buying the strips is very expensive for the link provided.
I may look out in Singapore / Bangkok during travel.

Thanks one and all for helping me figure out this charting thing...
Another BBT related question: is it, um, fruitful to have sex in the evening of the day of the temperature rise...or is it too late by then?
