where can i get Baby Sling with cheap price? I want one without ring for my hubby and one with ring for my maid. But they are very expensive in shops. at least HKD300!

I see local Hong Kongers with slings and stuff that look like they probably bought in a wet market somewhere. So I guess if you happen to be around those very local shops that they have in public housing estates, maybe you can find a shop in there.

I bought a sling without ring from www.mamabbshop.com. The quality is good and easy to use. Moreover, there's a natural deodorant for pregnancy and breastfeed woman. I bought one too!

Ask a friend whose baby is out of the sling or go to the Classifieds here. When my friend wanted to get rid of her baby stuff, I took hers and now plan on using the same one for my second kid too. Its washed and doesn't look brand new- but I don't care about the looks as much as it does the job well.

The slings that have been recalled are a specific style, called 'bag slings'. The safety concerns do not relate to the type of slings usually found here with straps over both shoulders. See here for more info:

I regularly use a sling to carry my baby (obviously not a bag sling!) but bought mine on the internet before I moved here so I'm sorry I can't offer any advice regarding your initial question. I have heard recommendations for this local vendor:

They sell good quality slings but for a little more that I think you are looking to pay, searching for one of these brands second hand may be a good way to go as someone else mentioned! Good luck.
