If I'm not Pregnant then wats going on ???

Hi all

I am a 29yr old happily married mother of 2.5yr boy.

The thing is now that my son is old enuf me and hubby tried to get pregnant again for a 2nd one ... been trying since Jan 09, got bit irregular peiods like in Feb the date was 8th, 18th in March and no periods in April but i waited full month. Then on 1st May i did a pregnancy test at home which turned out to be +ve, the Test line was bit dim but definetely was there.

So the next day (sat) i went to get tested by a Private Doc., but she told me after her test that its very weak +ve like almost fake +ve. I got quite upset obviously so asked Doc to do blood test as thats 100% accurate.

Had to wait for the blood test report over the weekend and then on Monday i got spotting and was sure that my periods have started and i'm not pregnant. Later that day my Doc called in to tell me that my blood report is +ve and i'm pregnant. I went to see the doc again and she got worried about the bleeding and did a tummy scan but couldnt see the baby so immediatelly reffered me to Emergency in nearby hospital, they did vaginal scan but still couldnt see anything maybe due to very early stage of pregnancy. Anyway they called me back again after 2weeks and asked me to take proper rest and care stuf.

After two weeks they again did vaginal scan and couldnt see anything inside me, did check urine again and it got -ve so the doc there declared me to be not pregnant sadly. It must have got aborted in quite early stage.

Sorry to bore you with all that long story but the problem now is that its the start of july and i still have got no periods .....!!! I dont understand wats going on, if i'm not pregnant then why am i not having my regular periods ????????????

A number of things could have happened, but the bottom line is that you need to be speaking to your gynaecologist, not second guessing on a web forum. That will do you no good at all, and merely confuse you further. It would be good, though, if you were to continue this thread after you find out for sure what has happened. I am sure it will be of benefit to other ladies.

Thanks alot for your responses .... I know this forum is not the perfect place to guess my situation but as i dont have anyone to talk to and share my feeling so i thought why not here ....!


As for the doctor's apt, i had been delaying it expecting to start my period "any day now" since almost 2 wks, but definetely i'll go to see one now and let you all know whatever might be happening inside me !!!!


PS. yes Cara it sure is hell of a feeling not knowing what is or might be going on inside your ownself. Lets hope for the best !

yup he's here with me all thru the ups and downs but he's just as good a guesser as i am, so i turned to this forum to know if someone else has been thru similar situation or can share their knowledge/experience....

any update on if you're pregnant or not.?
