Hi, does anyone has any comments on feeding music to the tummy during pregnancy?
I use a headphone (putting on to my tummy) and played some music. I can feel the kicking.....Is this supposed to be to stimulate the baby?
Is there any recommended songs to play or could I just play any music which I like the babies to listen?

I did not listen to "pregnancy" music on my first pregnancy, i read somewhere that it only has benefit to moms(to help her relax), not really on the fetus.
I only use "babyplus", highly recommend it.

I use Babyplus too. And I use some other music (not soothing type) for the fetus hopefully when the baby grow up, he/she could recognise the musical instrument and be interested in it.

I thought mine will love piano because as long as he 'hears' the piano sound he will be jumping in my tummy but now almost 2, he just did not pay any attention to it! But he pays attention to me singing to him the same songs - those songs that i sang when he was in my tummy - regardless of my 'traveling' tune and voice but who really cares? Really, we can spend a lot in these gadgets which i did but the end, he just loves his mommy's beautiful voice! 'wink wink'

When I play music, be it soothing music or arching band music, i feel moving in my tummy. Just thought is this harmful or is it stimulating and good for the baby.

I guess it is really not harmful but stimulating and good for the baby. I think there are some nice music CDs that are suitable for fetus. Maybe u can check that out too.

I was playing marching band music on the tummy and I feel moving inside there. I hope this is good as well assuming there are no preference for any specific type of music "for baby only".
