I'm at 36 weeks and have had a dull constant pain in my lower back for the past two days. Although this may sound bizarre, I've only suddenly begin to feel the weight of my belly. Is this normal and is there anything I can do to make myself more comfortable?

as you get heavier, you start arching more.
a couple of ways - you have to stretch out your lower back - cats pose (yoga) where you get on all fours and then push your spine towards the sky and point your head and your butt downwards is a good way to stretch out that area. Also, you can try standing with your legs apart, holding on to the back of a chair, bend your knees and curl your butt in - again - reversing the movement.
You're normal - around 36 weeks everything starts getting real and uncomfortable and it starts the "hurry up and get the baby out of me" syndrome.

Thanks! Am glad to hear that it's all normal!!! Will do more of those yoga poses... although that's a bit impossible at work!
