Hi I am 30yr, I got married 1 and half year ago and move to hk last year. prior to moving hk i had slip disc injury due to travelling on bumpy hills. I almost a year Physiotherapy and back pain is still there. Last 2 months of trying to conceive I am 10 days late from my period. I wanted to know if someone as back injury how difficult going to be pregnancy anyone has experince on it. also I donot have health insurance and finacially not that strong. what is next step to do test for pregnancy go to private doctor. in inexpensive gynocologicst in kowloon. I live in Li chi kok government hospital is pricncess margrate. sorry for long story. appreciate for any advice.

Honestly, one step at a time. You have a lot of questions and worries and yet you have not approached the number one question. Are you REALLY pregnant? You are 10 steps ahead before taking step one and all the other questions maybe irelevant if you are not. Go buy a test at Watsons or mannings FIRST, as you may not need to be worrying OBys, health insurance, financies, etc.... Then if you are post another thread with your second lot of questions.

I guess if money is an issue you should try the oublic system. I think your first scan would be at 12 weeks this is done at their antenatal clinic. First you need to find out what catchment area you live in and what antenatal clinic would you come under. I suggest you then make an appointment to have your first scan. If you plan to go private you need to see the oby now as they can then reserve a spot at the private hopsital for you as these are scarce.
