Can anyone recommend a good electric breastpump, please? Thanks.

I had my son over 2 years ago and am expecting again. I used the medela electric breastpump which I am going to stick to this time - better check it still works! My only problem was the noise factor. They have much better models now. Try and visit Bumps2Babes as I saw breastpumps there. I know you can rent breast pumps too. I ended up with the medela after renting one from hospital in the UK for a week and my hubby was then able to go pick up the home version. You might want to try that - I didnt get on with the Ameda which was a supposedly superior pump. Do find out if the hospital has pumps to rent out and then for a minimal investment you just buy the attachments. This is how it worked in UK. Then you can make a tried and tested decision once you've had the baby.
Expressing milk took some getting used to and it took time but I really believed it got my supply up as my son wasnt a great feeder to begin with and to tell you the truth, I just preferred having my son at the breast rather than expressing - you do feel like a cow in my experience! I pumped milk to help with my supply and I do believe regular pumping helped me.
I hear La Leche league is good in HK - might be worth giving them a call - they may be able to advise you too. I am sorry I dont know their telephone number.

I agree with the advice to wait til baby is born. Hire hospital grade pump and figure out how often you need to pump once baby is born, and what type will suit you best. I found an electric one was best but as I was pumping a lot to start with and then maybe twice a day, and then not expressing at all and not working, I decided to invest in a consumer electric breast pump that was better than a manual pump and pretty quick. If you are going back to work, you might want to hire a hospital grade pump on a longer term basis.
Lastly, do try and get your hubbie and one other relative/ close friend to understand why you are so keen on breastfeeding. Anxiety doesnt help either. Best results come from being relaxed which is hard if you are having problems with supply etc so you do need support.
However, if you decide you cant breastfeed for medical or personal reasons, dont beat yourself up about it. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. Very useful.
I think I will breastfeed no matter how hard it will be. However, I can't feed directly all the time therefore I need to buy breastpump. I am going to check Medela but my friend has just told me last night that I can rent Medela breastpump.
