yeah sounds perfectly normal. in fact good vomiting means a healthy baby in many cultures. good luck and keep it up.

I am 20weeks pregnant (with number 2) I am only just starting to have days that I do not feel like throwing up. I was exactly the same with number 1. I have had friends that have been throwing up all through their pregnancy until the day they delivered so sickness unfortunately can be a problem for a lot of us. I found eating very small meals often helped with the sickness and if I was hungry I felt even worse. Before I get out of bed in the morning I have a snack so see if that helps her.
The flu side of it may just be because when you are pregnant your immune system is naturally reduced. Your wife will catch the flu and colds more easily and they are will possibly last a lot longer than they normally would.
Is she drinking lots of water? Especially if she is sick she will need to replace the fluids. This could be a cause of the head ache.
If you are worried why not head to your doctor instead of waiting for the govt appointment. You just need to make it clear she is pregnant and confirm if she is given any thing that it is safe for pregnancy. Good luck.

Hi Penman,
Get the book "What to expect when you're expecting" and it will talk you through all the symptoms. Unfortunately, as another poster said, what your wife is going through could be very much "normal" for her. Every pregnancy is different, so you never know, but the headaches, the flulike symptoms of achiness and sinus problems, its all part of pregnancy for some. Vomiting too.
My sister in law was sick and vomiting throughout both her pregnancies...not fun.
Your wife should make sure to eat 6 small meals a day. Start the day off with you getting out of bed to make her a glass of grated ginger with warm water. That should help the nausea enough for her to eat something.
