Does anyone have recent, personal experience that can share on the best places to give birth in Jakarta? I know it has been a common view in the past that the only place to give birth 'in Jakarta' is in Singapore, but I'm sure that cannot be absolutely necessary nowadays plus it's an inconvenience anyway. Pondok Indah... Medistra... Siloam... any views? Thanks.

A friend of mine had a baby in a large hospital in Jakarta, and really did not have any complaints about it. The delivery went fine, kind doctors, etc.
The only negative thing that happened was that when the baby boy was born, he immediately got taken away from the mother to get circumcised. If you don't want this to happen, be cautious.
