Drugs (Sedation) Bad for Baby?

I just found out that I am pregnant and am a bit worried about the impact of an early medical procedure may have on the baby. I had my last period on 3 May. On 7 May I had colonoscopy under sedation. Does anyone know whether the seddation may cause any abnormality for the fetus?

You weren't actually pregnant at the time of the procedure. Pregnancies are counted as 40 weeks from the date of the last period but the fetal age is about 2 weeks less than that. The fetus doesn't implant and hook up with your blood supply for another couple of weeks after that and sedatives have a pretty short half life so you should be fine...that said, why not just ask your doctor?
