Hi,
I am trying for the second child (I had my first with IUI with Dr. HO in Hong Kong) in Tokyo. I started getting acupuncture a month ago and did IUI this cycle without medication or injection. My acupuncture doctor looked very serious today while reading my pulse, and said "it looks quite good at the moment. Maybe the IUI worked!" Well, has anyone had this type of experience? It is only 9th day from the IUI. I have had unusual pulpitation since IUI but I thought it is from the medication I am taking (the usual hormonal med Dr prescribe after IUI).

Hi,
Thanks for your post! No, I am not pregnant, but I have a feeling maybe sometimes egg get fertilized but cannot hang on to the wall or something... I had an unusual bleeding before the period and then came a big period. I had an IVF after the IUI, eggs got fertilized but not good enough quality to put back in the womb... I am seeing an acupuncturist in Japan, so cannot help you with this in Hong Kong but there are people who posted on acu topic on this forum, so just search for that. I read that Troy is good but his price has gone up, but honeypie posted she found a good acu with lower price and she got pregnant. Good luck with your IVF! (I am now doing the second IVF. )

Hi Macaron mania,
Thanks for your reply. I wish you have good luck too. I do travel to Tokyo everymonth so when you say you live in Tokyo now, i have some feelings. Overall i have very good impression on the techinques in Tokyo in medical side. Hope you have better chance, and meet an excellent doctor there. Accupunture is popular among Japanese women, so you may be getting a good one.
Good luck, patience helps. I wish both of us :)

Really? If you come to Tokyo, you can try this acupuncturist. They speak English and there are lots of people from abroad getting treatment there.
