My semen analysis say’s sperm count is nil, doctor suggested us to go for ICSI then, in order to that they did testicular biopsy and same time they try to retrieve sperm from testiest. Unfortunately they were no sperm.
So we could not go for ICSI.
Testis Biopsy Histopathology reports details as follows:
MICROSCOPEIC DESCRIPTION
The seminiferous tubules on both sides show spermatogenesis but hardly any mature sperms.
The basement membrane is slightly thickened.
DIAGNOSIS:
Testes, biopsis – Spermatogenic arrest.
My hormone Test details:
FSH 10.7
LH 10.8
PRL 76
T (Total Testosterone) 4.30
SHGB 36.9
Would u please suggest me on this and should I go for this treatment any alternatives. Really I am very upset about my future life.
I'm based in Beijing

I dont actually have any experience in this area. However, one of my friend's husband has just found out he has zero sperm count. As such, I have been doing a little bit of research for her. It would appear that traditional chinese meds may be able to help.

I appreciate your reply.
But traditional chinese medicine is not safe to take as i been told from My western doctor suggests not to take any, but if i go on ICSI Indications for:-
1. Azospermia (absence of sperm in ejaculate). It can be due to -
Obstruction in ejaculatory ducts
Retrograde ejaculation - where the ejaculate goes back into the bladder.
Absence of vas deferens.
Anejaculation - when the patient has the problems in ejaculation.
Due to failure of testes to produce sperm.
2. Severe Oligospermia - sperm count less than one million/mL
3. Asthenospermia - very poor sperm motility
4. Tetratozoospermia - less than 1% normal sperm.
5. Refractory unexplained infertility
6. Oocyte abnormality - the outer layer (zona-pellucida) of oocyte is resistant to the entry of sperm.
7. Antisperm- antibodies
Even in case of testicular failure it is now possible in around 50% cases to collect at least few sperms sufficient to perform ICSI procedure.
Sperm sample is centrifuged one to three times prior to ICSI procedure. High speed centrifugation may aid in mobilization of the sperm prior to injection. The single sperm is injected into the denuded oocyte in a very carefully selected position. High quality embryos are obtained which are incubated for 16 hrs, checked for fertilization and then transferred into uterus.
The success rate is approximately 30% per cycle.
Now some people suggested the best place to do it is Belguim,so we still not 100% sure, acually we need more and more advices.
Thanks.

Why would you ask a western doctor about questions of Chinese medicine?? It's just doesn't make any sense to me. I know quite a few ladies actually successfully get pregnant once they all tried the chinese med and acupuncture, when they already done with the western doc and they just doesn't work.

Thanks for your reply.
Bye the way i'm collecting advices for my husband,I asked the doctor in Belguim Hospital for chinese med because he suggested that i go for IUS (intra uterine
insemination).
In this procedure donor sperm is used, from our spermbank or from a foreign
donor.(which i wont be agree coz we want to get from our genetic material.
The cost for a IUS is 300 € per cycle , but extra costs are due for the
donorsperm.
Do you think chinese med will be adequate for men.
Thank u very much
